About Us
Empowering Children Through Customized Animal-Assisted Interventions
At Chuck's Pups, we address the social, emotional and academic challenges children face, through goal-oriented, animal-assisted interventions that go far beyond traditional therapy dog programs. Our tailored approach integrates therapy dogs into structured, evidence-based interventions focused on achieving specific outcomes in children's emotional, social, and academic development. By combining therapy dog support with social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies, we empower children to build confidence, develop coping skills, and improve academic performance. Our service dogs are specially trained to meet the unique needs of children with chronic illnesses, providing both emotional and physical support that enhances their independence and quality of life.
